Welcome Monster Friends

This blog was specifically designed for kindergarten and first grade friends to share their fun and crazy monster creations.

Here's how it works.

1. Design a monster by yourself, with a buddy or two, or as a whole class.

2. Write the directions that tell a reader how to draw your monster.

3. Post your finalized directions to the blog. Don't post
your picture, yet.

4. The partner class reads the directions and draws the monster.

5. They post the drawing. A teacher may help with this part.

6. The original authors/illustrators post the ACTUAL monster.

7. Everyone can visit the blog and see how close they came to the intended monster.

8. The original writers may decide to revise the directions and try it with a different audience. . . maybe parents!

Have a fun time writing, drawing and learning!

 4. Make the color blue and pointy for the horns.

 5. The hairy face is blue.

 6. The eyes are red and small.

 7. The ears are small triangles.  Use a pencil.
